Identity Verification Privacy and Retention

Bites stores only the local workflow data needed for auditability:
  • local verification IDs
  • Stripe verification session/report IDs
  • encrypted verified output summaries
  • status and error codes
  • reviewer decisions
  • audit events
Raw ID images are not stored in Bites. The identity provider processes the documents under its own retention controls. For an authorized deletion request, contact the workspace owner or organization support channel. The request can include provider redaction and removal of local encrypted outputs while preserving the minimum non-sensitive audit evidence required by policy or law.
