Identity Verification

Identity verification lets an eligible Bites member complete a Stripe-hosted identity check and return to Bites to see its status.

Flow

Open Identity verification in Bites.
Start a verification and continue to the Stripe-hosted flow.
Follow the provider instructions and submit the requested evidence.
Return to Bites at /identity-verification.
Wait for processing and, when required, workspace review.

The return page is authenticated. Only the person being verified and authorized reviewers can access the relevant verification data.

Privacy

Bites stores provider references, encrypted verification summaries, status, and review evidence. It does not store raw identity-document images. Session secrets are returned only during the authenticated verification flow.
